Karina by Arke

The Karina is a kit alternate tread stair system produced by the Italian manufacturer Arke (a subsidiary of Albini Fontanot). They hold it in stock and it can be delivered directly to your site within approximately two weeks. Please read the specification below to get a better understanding of the product. Specification
  • Treads - Solid Beech 30mm thick
  • Carriage - Modular steel sections consisting of steel tubes and and steel plates welded together
  • Balusters - Steel tubes 20mm in diameter
  • Baluster to baluster connectors - Plastic
  • Riser bars (if applicable) - Steel tube
  • Finishing caps - Plastic
Wooden components
  • Material - Solid Beech, block laminated
  • Size of individual blocks - 70x30mm
  • Graded for evenness of colour - No
  • Finger jointed - No
  • Finish - Finish - Primer coat of varnish only which is either clear or can include a dark brown stain
  • Metal components

    The steel sections of the carriage and the balusters are powder coated and coloured either light grey, black or white. Other metals (screws, nuts, bolts ect) are a multitude of finishes.

    Plastic components

    A number of plastics are used to produce the various components. They are generally coloured light grey to go with light grey and white metalwork or black with black metalwork.
